We started Haunt Harvester because Halloween coverage online is either thin, out of date, or written for the industry instead of for the people actually buying tickets and decorations. Our job is to be the opposite: clear, current, and genuinely on your side.

What we cover

• Finding haunted houses. A growing national directory plus state and city guides, so you can find attractions near you and know what to expect before you go.
• Visitor guides. Practical, know-before-you-go advice: what to wear, how to prepare, etiquette, and how to choose between an extreme haunt and a family-friendly one.
• Animatronics and props. Honest buying guides and comparisons for the big seasonal drops from major retailers, with real prices and availability notes.
• Home haunts and DIY. Builds, effects, and sound design for people making their own haunt at home.
• Seasonal coverage. Dates, tickets, and what to expect at the events people are searching for each fall.

How we work

We write for the fan and we respect the craft. A few things we hold ourselves to:

• We tell you when things vary. Fear level, safety, accessibility, pricing, and dates are not universal. When conditions can change, we say so and tell you to check with the attraction directly.
• We show our work on rankings. When we rank or compare, we publish our methodology and the date we evaluated. Rankings are never for sale, and a partner never determines our verdict.

• We do not fabricate. We do not invent dates, prices, or ticket details, and we do not use AI imagery to depict real attractions or products as if they were real photos.

Who we are

Haunt Harvester is produced by the Haunt Harvester Editorial Team, a small group of Halloween enthusiasts who research attractions, test-shop the seasonal product drops, and follow the haunt world year round. Our focus is entirely consumer facing: helping visitors, shoppers, and home haunters get the most out of the season.
