Located on Carowinds Boulevard along the North Carolina–South Carolina border, SCarowinds runs select nights from September 11 through November 1, 2026. The event combines haunted mazes, outdoor scare zones, live entertainment and nighttime rides throughout the park.

About 40 minutes east of Charlotte in Monroe, The 13th Acre is a lengthy outdoor haunted trail divided into two connected sections: Coffin Creek and The Forbidden Acre. The wooded experience ends at the attraction’s Monster Midway, which offers food, drinks, fire pits and a horror-themed selfie museum.

The 13th Acre is scheduled to operate on 14 select nights from September 19 through October 31, 2026. Gates open at 7:00 p.m., and the haunted trail begins around nightfall.
